After an awful experience with Data Recovery Specialists (aggressive account managers and threats to delete my data if I didn’t pay them £670+VAT in 48 hours), I can only say I wish I had found PC Image first!! A friendly service and for sure the best value for money option out there. They recovered all my files within 24 hours, put them onto a 2tb hard drive, configured it to my mac and sent it out to me the same day for less than half what Data Recovery Specialists asked for. I have since received the hard drive and it works a treat, all my files are there and none of the quality has been lost. But they also said they would keep hold of the files for 1 month just in case I have any problems. I always spoke directly to the person who was dealing with my data too, so at no point was I having to deal with a commissioned account manager who didn’t know or understand the technical details of my issue. I hope whoever reads this finds it useful and as a result uses the services of this fantastic company. Thank you very much.

PC IMAGE brilliant service! Look no further, reliable & honest. I damaged my USB flash stick after knocking it with my crutches on the PC monitor and lost all my data as I bent it. I was gutted so I did a search on Google for Data Retrieval services, I looked at various other Data Retrieval services and all if not most had hidden extra cost in the small print and just seemed as if they just wanted your money and where not helpful. However after receiving a call from Sean at PC Image I felt that I trusted him with my USB stick as he was straight up and honest with me about the procedure and all costs. I have now just received back my new USB flash stick from PC image in Peterborough within a week and I am very happy with the service and costs Sean & Kevin are both very knowledgeable and so helpful . I recently had to use their services for someone else’s external drive that went kaput and wouldn’t come back to life anymore. Not only did they manage to get more than 95% of the data back (I guess some luck is involved too) but they were really quick and efficient. Their service is excellent and I would recommend them.

I cannot rate PCImage highly enough. Within two working days they were able to recover all data from a defunct NAS drive that a previous company I used were unable to do (even after 10 days) Sean (managing director) was easy to deal with and very helpful throughout the process. Definitely contact them if you get any sort of disk/storage problem!

A power surge damaged a 3TB hard drive I stupidly hadn’t backed up.
I contacted PC Image Data Recovery with the issue and they diagnosed the problem almost instantly.
I spoke to Kevin, who was up front, extremely friendly and helpful; told me what I should expect to pay and to send in the drive to see what they can do.
While the drive was in their possession, Kevin called me every other day giving me updates as to their progress and how successful the data recovery would be.
Out of the 50,000 files on the drive, only a few got damaged; they’re able to send you a list of what got recovered and what didn’t.
I was then contacted by Sean who told me they were able to repair these files and emailed them to me separately.
I won’t lie, depending on the service required, this can be quite a sting on the wallet for singular individuals, but it’s a specialist service and they do a specialist job.
An absolutely brilliant service; couldn’t be happier with the outcome and can’t recommend them enough.
